My name is Ann Gonsowski. I have been teaching in the Gurnee, District 56 Schools for 31 years. I have a B.S. in Education degree from Illinois State University and an M.S. in Education (Reading Specialist) degree from Northern Illinois University. I continued to further my edcation by taking over 44 more graduate hours in a variety of classes. I have a Reading Recovery Certificate that I received in 1992. I have taught Junior High Language Arts, First Grade, Primary Summer School, Kindergarten, and been a Reading Specialist over the last 31 years.
I am married to Gerald Gonsowski. We have a daughter named Kelsy. Kelsy is 15. I also have 2 cats--Kitty and Tiger. I spend my spare time watching my daughter pom at Grayslake North High School, driving her around, reading, cooking, shopping, and preparing for my Kindergarten Class.
